My Poetry

Llandudno Stones

The dappled stones of wetted sea,
The colors burst forth
Green, yellow, brown, black and even pink.
Shades hidden on dry earth.
The sea opening them to the eyes and my heart to the sea.
Even though your sky is grey,
And rain falls gently from your clouds.
You are close to me in my dreams,
And when I am with you, your wind and stones guide my soul.

Upon the Great Orme is where god has greeted me.
The wind her breath and the ground her body.
Silent and voluptuously open to my touch.
My tears brought forward by her beauty.
Knowledgable, a voice sweet and melodic.
I’ve known you before.
Your caress.
The gulls crying your song.

Open me, cut me deep.
A Vikings dream without fever or sweat.
Your permanent stones across the shore.
Amongst the seaweed and sand.
I lament to leave you so soon, but I will return.
To your shore.

No birds

Within the forest
my dad talks to me about
that he hears no birds.

Where are the birds?
I hear their songs far away,
But I say nothing.

I pretend as if
Near us are no birds to hear
Silent are his ears.

I am sorry dad
I wish to bring back the birds
For their song is sweet.
